ROW Records collaborates with One Dollar Foundation to deliver a Relief hamper to Single Mother Waitresses.
As ROW Records celebrated 13 years in its existence, The music and entertainment company embarked celebrating the milestone with an online benefit show while giving back to its community. This was achieved through a collaboration with the The Bar, Club and Entertainment Owners Association and a partnership with One Dollar Foundation, a non profit-community organization looking to impact positive social behavioral change through community involvement and engagement to improve disadvantaged peoples’ lives.
The online events’ proceeds and call for donations by stakeholders involved managed to source contributions towards the cause of helping single mother waitresses that are out of work because of the conditions imposed by novel Corona Virus commonly known as Covid-19.
The Covid-19 relief drive to support to this struggling group of mothers begun with a journey to Kawala where we met the first beneficiary of the initiative, one Honest Ampaire, a single mother of 2 who has been left without work from Star casino for the last 6 months.
The team delivered household items, reusable sanitary pads and face masks and they continue to urge you too to become part of this cause by sending in your contributions through their website www.onedollarfoundation.org or to their official donations number +256 751 531 120
